The Story of Hannah and A Center for Women
Thirty-five years ago, A Center for Women Pregnancy Care Services embarked on a transformative journey, driven by an inspiring vision: "To show the love of Christ by being the first step for women facing an unplanned pregnancy."
As a Christ-centered, pro-life pregnancy resource ministry, their mission is nothing short of life-affirming: "We empower them to make life-affirming decisions by addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs," as eloquently conveyed in their ACfW Mission Statement.
At A Center for Women, they commit to "give the best of ourselves to serve every person who walks through our doors," passionately delivering a range of pregnancy and parenting-related services. While these services are offered freely to clients, the organization relies heavily on a significant annual financial commitment and the support of its dedicated donors. Fundraising, therefore, serves as the lifeblood of the vital services they provide.
Year after year, the A Center for Women team managed their annual banquet using traditional methods—excel spreadsheets and paper forms. Recognizing the need for a transformative solution that could not only streamline their organizational processes but also facilitate the expansion of their donor base, Hannah and her team embarked on a quest for a more efficient approach. In her own words, they were in search of "an easier, smoother way to run an event."
